drivehow keeps your personal information safe. To do my job, I ask you to trust with some of your personally identifiable data. I encourage you to read our privacy policy, which details how we keep your information safe, secure and private.

When you contact me to book lessons, I will ask for details such as your name, date of birth, address, email and contact number. When booking your practical test, you will also need to provide me with your theory test pass number.

I will share your details only with such partners who need the information. I will not pass, rent or sell them on to anyone else for any reason without your consent.

drivehow complies with the Data Protection Act 2018 and hold your information using varied security methods.

When you pass your practical test, your instructor may ask to take a picture of you with your certificate. By agreeing to this, you are also consenting to your first name and ‘driving story’ appearing on social media. No personal details from your certificate will be visible in the posted photo. Details you have disclosed to us, such as previous practical test fails, or difficulties you experience with driving, may be used.

You can choose to update, check or remove your details from our database at any time. It’s really easy—just email with your request.

drivehow uses cookies, stored in your browser, for processing purposes. When you visit the drivehow website at, cookies wil be set that allows my website to work efficiently. They are used to track the pages that are the most useful to my learners. No sensitive information is gathered this way, except that which you choose to share with us. They help my web designers to improve the drivehow website so that they can create a better experience for you and other users.
